Hazel was born July 1st 2013. She is a super happy go lucky girl with energy to spare. She loves meeting new people, visiting new places and experiencing new things. I have met very few dogs who are as brave as Hazel, nothing phases her, not the blow dryer, not fireworks, nothing. She is sweet with our children and always willing to play. She is outgoing, loves to go running, play in the water, pull a sled, go hiking, chase goats, lay on children, kiss any face that gets close enough, and climb onto the trampoline. She is sweet and silly and will flop on her back at the slightest inclination that you might rub her belly. Hazel excels at anything we try! She passed both legs of her herding instinct test on her first try with only a handful of lessons, she was called a natural by the judges even with me as her not so instinctual handler! Our herding instructor says that she has awesome drive and instinct and such a willingness to work. That comes in handy as we work toward the competition obedience ring. Hazel picks up new behaviors with ease and enthusiasm! So far hazel has had one puppy and adopted another to go with him. She is a FABULOUS mommy, we couldn’t have asked for better. We sure love this girl and think she is something special!
